Passport Replacement Insurance. CIBT offers optional passport replacement insurance
for an additional fee. Under this program, travelers can register their U.S. passport with CIBT
so that if the passport is lost or stolen, CIBT will replace it. Over 50% of travelers register
for this service.
Automatic Passport Reminder. If requested, CIBT will automatically register the name,
passport expiration date, and email address of our customers. Then, within six months of the
passport expiration, CIBT will send an auto-generated email reminder. Our customers have found
this to be a useful way to remember when their passport expires, avoiding last minute hassles.
